My First Blog Post!

Hi! I have decided to enter into the world of blogs! I have a few reasons for wanting to start a blog. First of all, I have family and friends that I miss all over the country due to a few moves over the years. It is often hard to keep up with everyone's preferred electronic medium, whether it be email or facebook. I thought this would be a great place to keep a scrapbook for me and my family as well as keep my extended family across the miles up to date. Secondly, thanks to the encouragement of my mom in high school I took a typing class and I type much faster than I can "scrapbook". My firstborn son has a scrapbook of his first year and my second born has a couple pages of her first few days with most of my photos in the computer waiting to be organized. At the rate I am going, my third born will be out of college before I even start his! Finally, I want nothing more but to capture the memories my family and I make. I am a stay at home mom of three who enjoys spending time with my family and friends, cooking, baking, crafting, knitting, traveling, and decorating my home. I am a self described home body who wants to capture memories in my Nesting Place!
